I'm starting to seriously mix my R and L's xD

So, usually at work we start packing everyone's orders to go about 10 minutes before we close up. I mean, there's no sense to keep people eating inside if we're closed, right? We're not going to be able to start cleaning the tables, etc.
Anyway, I told one of the customers that I have to pack his order since it was getting late. I was SUPPOSED to say "kello on jo niin paljon" ("the clock's already quite late", or whatever), but ended up saying "kerro on jo niin parjon" ("the crock's already quite rate") *rolls eyes* I did that more than once yesterday, too.

I shall blame it on having to work for 6 days in a row. I mean, there's nothing wrong with my brain, right?

Another point is that every time someone starts talking to me in a language other than Finnish, and I'm supposed to nod and agree, I want to say "Hai!" xD
Customer: So, I'll have a Bic Mac meal with cola
Me: *nod* Hai!
.....
Me: uh, sorry. Yes. *wants to sink underground*
Customer: ....okay. That would be all, then.

This morning our first customers at work were four teenagers (two girls and two guys), that had apparently stayed all night in some woods and gotten drunk. They had sleeping bags with them and smelled of booze, and one of the girls had her makeup running all over her cheeks. Eww.
As if that wasn't enough, the girl came up to me and asked if I was taken. One of the guys wanted to know. EWWWWWWW. Sorry, but teenage drunkards are not on my list of preferable dating partners *shudder*

But I got off work early since it was so quiet =D Sure, that was about $25 down the drain, but the sun is finally shining after a couple weeks of really strange weather, so I don't mind~

.....and no. Nothing life-changing has happened. Although I'm STILL waiting for my results from Uni of Helsinki >.<; They're supposed to arrive by the 21st, and last year I got my results pretty early. So I went to check out HU's homepage, and they said that they "will mail the results so that they will reach most participants' addresses by the 21st". This means that my results might come LATER. Slowpokes. All the other universities have already sent out their results. Figures that the place I'm applying for sends them last @_@

The above in English, although you prolly won't understand it anyway......
Heidi (co-worker), right off the bat after the compulsory hellos, asked me if Esko Aho (the name of one of Finland's congressmen) meant 'stupid ant' in Japanese. I was like 'WHUT?' for a while, and then proceeded to say that 'ahou' does mean stupid, but I don't know about Esko though. Well, after getting home I looked it up in the dictionary. Turns out that 'ant' is 'ari' in Japanese. Well, what do you know, Ari is ALSO a male name in Finnish (just like Aki, Kimi, Mika, Esa, and a bunch of others are) xDDD

Lesson of the day?
All you Ari Aho -named people out there: NEVER GO TO JAPAN.

Let's just say that I never tire of learning new words in Japanese, because the chances are pretty high that it means something totally hilarious in Finnish also xDDD

I'm so sleepy.......Johanna, who was my 'shift manager' yesterday, told me to go to a doctor about my back, since it hurt like hell even when walking. Well, I DID go to the doctor pretty early in the morning as she told me -but I got three days of sick leave >.>

So I'm on pretty high pain medication right now, as prescribed by the doc! I'm not hallucinating or anything, but the meds make me so so sleepy *yawn* I just hope that the painkillers work, because no matter how much I'm taking them, I can still feel the pain when walking o.O

So, guys? NEVER lift heavy things up with your back. Use your legs to help you, or you will end up with horrible backpains -just like me!

EDIT: Haha~! FREAKY and Moon Crying arrived in the mail today! *dances*
ALthough first press of Moon Crying was supposed to be sold out, I still got the bonus track o.O Oh well, I'm not complaining 8D Now I can go and laugh at Fergie in That Ain't Cool from my own TV screen!

I just promised to fill in for work for a friend because she's looking for a new apartment. That means I have to be up and standing for 9 hours (instead of 6 hrs) - straight through. I'm going to be so bored....if I was alone, I could bring my mp3s with me, but since there is another person with me...uh, no. And then I have 7 hours the next morning. I'm going to be dead by the time I get home on Tuesday =/

We got a new oven today! Mom's scrubbing all the pans and stuff right now, and cursing to herself xD My nephew has turned into such a mamma's boy. He starts crying when my sister (his mom) leaves the room. Such a spoiled little cutie.

I'm going to have to call tiketti tomorrow about ordering (and possibly pre-ordering) tickets, because I've never ordered anything through them. I want to know if I can order them through phone, or if I actually have to go ALL the way to Helsinki to get the stuff. Not that it's far away, only an hour's train ride + walking through town :P But I was there just yesterday! And I got sunburn, so my chest and shoulders are really pink right now. Curse my white skin!
