I'm pretty proud of myself, I've been doing a lot for the forum....the layout header (they actually voted for the headers and mine was the winner....they actually appreciate me playing around on Photoshop *amazed*), this "coming soon" banner, I'm translating their japanese lyrics for the site (really helping me brush up on my japanese! =D)....

Yeah. I'm hoping it'll be big.

Now I gotta go and read that paper on contructivist theory *scurries off*

I felt strangely accomplished after putting up this....I thought that my photoshop skills weren't quite so bad in the end, and maybe my coding's okay too.

Then I went and checked the site on Firefox and Google Chrome.

I don't feel so accomplished anymore.

How the hell do people do the coding for the link background to stretch?! It looks absolutely FINE and how it's supposed to on IE, but any other browser? Oh dear god, it's horrible T__T I've viewed page sources and css files of other sites where it works, and I don't THINK I have anything wrong with my coding. But it still looks wonky!

Gah.

EDIT: I got it to stretch now, but it still looks really strange and how it's not supposed to be. Best viewed with IE, unfortunately. Bleh.

I'm spamming my deviantart account now, because I just realized that I've taken several hundred pictures since the last time I submitted anything xDD


.....okay, I only added three photos, because most of my shots aren't exactly 'art' material (and I don't want them to get repetitive, which it WILL become if I submit 168451651 pics of clouds) >.> But considering I submit stuff like....twice a year, what I just did was spamming in my book, hahah

I really need to finish that Kuu picture I've been working on. It's just that the hand is a royal pain in the ass and I just sort of gave up and forgot about it? ^^; I'll get it done sometime!

Because I've seen everyone do this and wanted to test it out:

1. Put your music player of choice on shuffle.
2. Scene one = first song played, scene two = second, so on.
3. No cheating/skipping.
4. Pass it on.

Exam week starts next Thursday, and I am positively ignorant of all things school. Well, not really since I've been working my butt off for Biology and Swedish, but I don't actually know all that much. Especially about economics, that is one boring course. I'm just glad it'll be over next week. No government in school after that! I'm free!

Btw, I realized a couple of weeks ago the thing about yaoi/shounenai fiction. When there is a couple, whichever's name is first on the coupling is the seme (the 'man' in the relationship, or the one on top, as is the case in yaoi). I was puzzling over the difference between RikuxSora and SoraxRiku for the longest time, until I put two and two together and got it. In RikuxSora, Riku is seme and on SoraxRiku it's Sora. Huzzah!

But, that made me wonder. Usually, pairings are shortened by mixing the two persons' names together. With Sora and Riku that would be Soriku. But is that equivalent of only SoraxRiku pairings or all of them? What would RikuxSora be? Rikora? That sounds weird.

FYI I am not a yaoi fangirl, but even I have to acknowledge that Sora and Riku just about belong together. Did Sora cry when he found Kairi, the 'love of his life'? No. Did Sora cry when he found Riku, his 'best friend'? Way yes. It's rather touching, really.

Okay, sudden 5-inch-snow on roads is not cool. I don't mind snow, I really don't, but this means that I'll have to take the bus to school instead of biking and that sucks. It's expensive AND I have to wake up half an hour earlier than normal. Once exams are over (like three weeks from now) I can start going to school by car, after the abituerents (graduating class) and their cars are gone. I'll have the whole parking space to myself! So hopefully I can catch some sleep then. I need my beauty sleep.

I hate livejournal but I love it. I hate it 'cause it's so ****ing slow on me all the time and because I can only have 6 icons on this account type (greatest journal has 2,000 -TWO THOUSAND), which is really frustrating because I see all these pretty icons floating around and I can't use them...*bawl* But I love livejournal because there's a lot of cool people here. It's hate/love relationship. Vihasuhderakkaus. Mwah.
