I can't believe I'm doing this o.o


I will keep all fangirling public while more personal entries are friends only. This doesn't affect the journal much as about 75% of my entries are about less personal matters, but I digress.
You don't have to comment to add me (because I'm cool and will add you back if you have at least some sort of content on your journal), but you can if you want to ;)

This morning our first customers at work were four teenagers (two girls and two guys), that had apparently stayed all night in some woods and gotten drunk. They had sleeping bags with them and smelled of booze, and one of the girls had her makeup running all over her cheeks. Eww.
As if that wasn't enough, the girl came up to me and asked if I was taken. One of the guys wanted to know. EWWWWWWW. Sorry, but teenage drunkards are not on my list of preferable dating partners *shudder*

But I got off work early since it was so quiet =D Sure, that was about $25 down the drain, but the sun is finally shining after a couple weeks of really strange weather, so I don't mind~

.....and no. Nothing life-changing has happened. Although I'm STILL waiting for my results from Uni of Helsinki >.<; They're supposed to arrive by the 21st, and last year I got my results pretty early. So I went to check out HU's homepage, and they said that they "will mail the results so that they will reach most participants' addresses by the 21st". This means that my results might come LATER. Slowpokes. All the other universities have already sent out their results. Figures that the place I'm applying for sends them last @_@

I was wondering why there was so much noise outside my apartment today, and when I checked through my kitchen window.....SEAGULL BABIES! :3

I was a little worried that they would fall down, though. I mean, they're walking around in those rain water drain -thingies. And the roof is WAY up, it's a 3-storey house. They would die if they fell down T_T But they're so cute! And furry! ♥

Watch Mad World. It's amazing. I remember I cried when I was watching Donny Darko (btw, I really want to watch it again, anybody know where I could download it?) and that song came on. I cried again the first time I watched Adam's performance of it. It's amazing.
Black or White was amazing for being the first performance on the big stage. And I have a weak spot for the song. I don't listen to Michael Jackson, but Black or White is GOOD.
Ring of Fire has AWESOME middle-east sounds in it, although the original song is country. I love the long "woooooo" -thingy (I was never good with words) he does towards the end of his performance. Wow. I want an mp3 *has a weakness for mid-eastern music*
Too bad she hasn't uploaded "If I Can't Have You" yet, because that song was genius. So pretty. But I laughed as soon as they showed Paula's expression during the performance! Now that's what you look like when you "melt into a pile of goo", like seriously. I gotta find the video somewhere. EDIT FOUND IT!

I will throw a fit if Allison doesn't get to the finals with him. They're the two people I'm watching the show for. All the others.....not worth watching. Danny has a good voice, but he's really boring otherwise. If I want his voice with a drop of interest, I listen to David Cook. Kris is cute and he has a pretty good voice, but he's not winner material. But Allison....hooboy. She's 17 and has MAD SKILLS. I love her low, raspy voice *is in love* And she's a rocker, so that naturally scores points with me xD

A & A (Allison & Adam) to the finals, all the way! Hopefully. Although, knowing America and it's love for cheese (aka the cheesiness that is Danny), I don't think Allison will make it. Sob.

And btw. THE JUDGES NEED TO STOP TALKING SO MUCH. They're always running short on time etc because Paula rambles on and on. And all those commercial breaks! @_@ One break less and they would make it FINE within the time limit. Really now.

I wouldn't mind looking like that, even though the picture is quite heavily photoshopped. When I saw Sophie Ellis-Bextor's face on a Rimmel mascara ad, I was very tempted to buy the product xD I mean, it makes her eyes look phenomenal, why not try it? lol

Also, the wannabe photographer in me squaled VERY LOUD when she saw this. I love how the background is blurred, I love how melancholy he looks in the picture, I love the downcast eyes, the colors, everything ♥ It makes me want to drag people to a studio of sorts and take lots of photos~ hoping that some of them would look presentable

I just heard this song today, and I love it. It's really soothing, but kind of bittersweet (just the way I like it!). I translated it into English, but it's a lot more poetic in Finnish xD He sings about shadows, but it could be translated as "a part of you stays with me". It just means that a dear friend has left, and although they're not physically here with us, we still carry a part of them in our memories. It's just that the memories can never compare with the real thing, and that's why it's just a shadow. Also, I think "valovuosi" is "light year" in English. I don't really know what else to call it. It refers to a long, loooooooong time (like light years in space are long).

The chorus still makes me cringe a little, and the guy in the hat....he looks bored. The audio shows that he's singing (somewhat) passionately, but the video? He looks like he's falling asleep. So no, not everything is perfect about them. Their English makes me laugh as well, although a couple of lines were actually understandable!
The thing I like the most about the video is the black and white imagery, as well as the slowmotion running. And uh....the dance solos about half-way into the song. SO COOL. *art and dancing geek mode: activate!* I'm sorry. I love songs that have that techno beat and good dancing xD

Have you guys ever heard of Vertu? I hadn't, until today. Ida (a friend I've made at school) looked at this one girl talking on the phone and she did a double-take because it seemed like she was talking with a Vertu phone. Those things cost a fortune!

We concluded that the girl must be Russian.

It's still a little strange. Audentes is not a very big university, and it's so new that it hasn't had the time to develop a reputation yet. And yet there are students there that can afford Vertu phones? O.O

We have a carneval to go to today. Empire Carneval, it's some dress-up party at a big restaurant? I don't even know where it is xD The themes are Ancient Roman empire, fairytale heroes and erotica. I'm wearing a army skirt. A ridiculously SHORT skirt. Will that count as erotica ('cause it sure as hell ain't ancient empire or a fairytale hero)? Some odd dude is bound to have a fetish about army brats, lol.

LM.C.....was totally worth it. They were so adorable! *gushes and squeals*

Uhm. I couldn't find the girl I was supposed to queue with, so I was just all "fuck this" and spent the day in my hotel room xDD Since it was raining and all, I didn't want to get sick. I didn't go there until 7pm, when the doors were supposed to open....and I still stood in line for 1½ hours *shudder* I thought my toes would fall off, they were so frozen! And I totally attribute it to that coldness that I couldn't feel my left foot about 15 minutes into the concert. It was a little strange to try to jump around when all I could feel was this tingling (like, I couldn't feel the shoe, or the floor.....just the tingling) O.o;;

But LM.C definitely gave us a run for our money! They made us jump, scream (my voice is STILL a little hoarse), sing along.....laugh =DD Maya was so cute. The first word he said in his very first MC was "moi" ("hi" in Finnish). Safe to say everyone screamed. Then he repeated the word like 5 times before moving on to "konnichiwa" xDD
For everything else he had a paper, where he read it all. One of the more memorable things was "haluamme mennä muumimaahan" ("we want to go to Moominland", because Japanese love moomins). Then he proceeded to drag an interpreter out and we conversed about aurora borealis, lapland, having fun, how we should go totally crazy since it was their EURO tour final (and they said they would never forget Finland and would love to come back), how we should all get a cold together since it was cold outside and TOO HOT inside, etc....

At the start of their encore they had this.....I dunno, guy in a HUGE mask drink two bottles of Finnish beer x'DDD It was pretty amazing, since they beer just slid down, I suspect the guy had a secret pouch somewhere beneath his uniform.....oh, and best not forget the lollipops they threw at the end, lawl.

But they played Little Fat Man Boy, Rock the LM.C, Sentimental Piggy Romance, LIAR LIAR, 88, Oh my Juliet and Boys & Girls, so I'm a very happy camper =DD


And once again, I don't know why -maybe there's something wrong about how I see them in pictures- but DAMN. Every jrocker I've ever seen live seem to have such a big head O.O Or maybe it's just because they're up on the stage and we're....well, NOT *shrugs*

So now I'm not exactly sure if I should watch the Black Cherry DVD before toppling into Dirty Ballroom DVD from TRICK.....or the other way 'round.

Or better yet! Maybe I should postpone watching until evening and finally drag my ass to the immigration bureu so I can register myself as a Tallinn resident. And do my homework, I have a bit of reading to do for tomorrow. Oh yeah, and get me that Estonian phone number......
